The first meeting of the project team (and representatives of West North West Homes) has now taken place to consider the plans designed by Groundworks, kindly funded by West North West Homes (WNWH).  The proposal has addressed most of the concerns which were expressed by those attending the public meeting in May or passed on to the project team since that date.

The proposal has changed a great deal from the original and we now have a design which is more in keeping with the natural surroundings of the site and addresses the two major concerns of safety and noise.

Members of the team will be holding informal meetings with various groups of residents over the coming months to show them the proposals and get feedback so we can refine the design to satisfy the wishes of the majority of the community.  WNWH have also agreed to facilitate meetings with their residents.

A survey of residents will be undertaken early next year so look out for details in ‘Adel Life’ and help us take your views into consideration by completing it and mailing back the questionnaire.  It won’t cost you anything as it’s a Freepost address.

Details will be also be discussed with both The Adel Association and Adel Crag Association, as well as a further public meeting,  but if, in the meantime, you would like us to speak with any groups that you are involved with, however small, please let us know.
